1. Application

This Privacy Policy applies to Shukatsu Mail Manager (hereinafter "the App"), available at shukatsu-mail.com. The App helps job seekers organize and analyze their recruiting-related emails using Google Gmail and AI technology.

2. Information We Collect

The App requests the following permissions via Google OAuth 2.0:

• Google Account information — your name and email address, used to identify your account within the App.
• Gmail read-only access (gmail.readonly) — the App reads your Gmail messages solely to identify and retrieve recruiting-related emails (e.g., interview invitations, application results). The App does not send, delete, or modify any emails.

3. How We Use Your Information

Information collected is used exclusively for the following purposes:

• Identifying and fetching recruiting-related emails from your Gmail inbox.
• Analyzing email content with an AI model (Anthropic Claude API) to extract structured data such as company name, event date, and priority score.
• Displaying a summarized dashboard of your job-search activities.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the core functionality described above.

4. Data Storage and Retention

• Email body content is sent to the Anthropic Claude API for analysis and is not stored on our servers after analysis is complete.
• Only structured data extracted from emails (company name, date, priority score, status, etc.) is stored in our database, linked to your account.
• Google OAuth tokens are stored securely and are used only to access Gmail on your behalf.

5. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services. Your data is shared with them only to the extent necessary to provide the App's functionality:

• Google LLC— authentication and Gmail API access, governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
• Anthropic, PBC— AI analysis of email content via the Claude API. Anthropic does not use API-submitted data for model training. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy for details.

We do not sell, rent, or otherwise disclose your personal information to any other third parties.

6. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. OAuth tokens are stored with encryption, and all data transmission uses HTTPS. Access to stored data is restricted to authenticated users.

7. Data Deletion

You may request deletion of all data associated with your account at any time by contacting us at the email address below. You can also revoke the App's access to your Google account at any time via Google Account Permissions.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
